Hi! I'm Kellie, I have been chipping away at my Bachelor of Learning Management part time for quite a few years now, I've deferred a couple of times to do other things such as Childcare, Personal Training and most recently and by far my proudest achievement to date, the birth of my daughter in 2009. Although it has taken me a while i can now see the light at the end of the university tunnel and am keenly anticipating the time when i am actually teaching. I have a passion for early childhood development and I am very interested in educational psychology and learning theories.
3 days ago the only thing I knew about blogs was that the movie 'Julia & Julia' was based on a woman writing a cooking blog, and that the woman wrote in it every night and over time more and more people visited her blog and left comments and in the end she became quite famous and she became a writer. I really liked the idea of it (blogging), but never thought that i could myself blog. But that was three days ago and now after one tutorial and two very late nights of engaging with the course materials I am pleased to announce that i now know that a blog (and also a wiki) is a web 2.0 application that facilitates interactive information sharing, and I'm super proud to present you with this, my very first blog. So thats a start. From these humble beginnings I hope to dramatically increase my technological knowledge and competencies in E-Learning over the course of the term so I am able to effectively meet the particular learning needs of today's students.
